Mary Rockas, MD

As a board-certified psychiatrist at NYU Langone, my mission is to provide compassionate and comprehensive care to those grappling with mental health and addiction issues. I find immense fulfillment in helping my patients navigate through their struggles, and I am particularly passionate about addressing weight bias and improving systems of care.

My expertise lies in addiction psychiatry, a field I have dedicated many years to. I am skilled at managing mental health concerns in various settings, including outpatient, inpatient, and emergency environments. My dual qualifications as a doctor and a master of business administration contribute to my holistic approach to patient care, combining medical knowledge with an understanding of healthcare systems.

Throughout my career, I have prioritized proactive engagement with healthcare, both in my clinical practice and in my role as an educator. I am deeply committed to teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows, fostering the next generation of healthcare professionals.
