About Me
I pursued a career in medicine because I wanted to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives while continuing to learn and grow throughout my career. After training in family medicine, I found my true calling in emergency medicine. I was drawn to its fast pace, wide variety of patients and conditions, and the opportunity to care for people during some of the most vulnerable and uncertain moments of their lives.
I provide emergency care to patients of all ages and treat a broad range of acute conditions, including chest pain, breathing difficulties, abdominal pain, infections, injuries, and neurologic emergencies. I also specialize in the rapid evaluation and treatment of critically ill patients and perform procedures such as airway management, emergency resuscitation, wound care, fracture reduction, and dislocation management.
What I value most about emergency medicine is the ability to bring together quick decision-making, procedural skill, and teamwork to help patients when they need it most. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to stabilize patients during frightening moments, help families understand what comes next, and offer reassurance in times of stress.
My approach to care is grounded in compassion, respect, and clear communication. I know that a visit to the emergency department can feel overwhelming, so I make it a priority to listen carefully, explain things clearly, and ensure that each patient feels heard, supported, and cared for. I approach every patient the way I would want my own family to be treated.
In addition to my clinical work, I am actively involved in medical education and enjoy mentoring residents and medical students. It is incredibly rewarding to help shape the next generation of physicians and support their growth into skilled, thoughtful, and compassionate clinicians.
What I find most meaningful about my work is being able to make a difference during a patient’s most vulnerable moments. Seeing someone improve and knowing that my team and I were able to help is both a professional privilege and a deeply personal reward.
