About Me
As a pediatric critical care specialist at NYU Langone, I am deeply committed to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to children who are critically ill. My passion for pediatrics began in childhood, inspired by my parents who always saw me as a future doctor. The opportunity to help both children and their families during their most challenging times drives me to work tirelessly in my field.
I specialize in treating a wide range of critical conditions in children, from young infants with respiratory failure to children experiencing hemodynamic shocks due to sepsis, trauma, or overdose. With years of experience, I have developed a special interest in clinical research to advance treatment of severe asthma and acute respiratory diseases. My research has been published extensively, particularly on the resuscitation of children who are hemodynamically compromised, with an insufficient blood flow throughout the body.
My journey into medicine began with a dream to become a pediatrician, which led me to immigrate to the USA and join a pediatrics residency program. During my training, I was exposed to various specialties, but pediatric critical care captivated me the most.
At NYU Langone, I am honored to be part of a dedicated team of pediatric subspecialists who work together to improve the lives of children and their families. Our collaborative approach ensures that each patient receives the highest standard of care, supported by the latest research and medical advances.
