As an emergency medicine physician at NYU Langone, I am dedicated to providing reassurance and exceptional care to all patients, regardless of their circumstances. The Emergency Department is a place where the doors are always open, and I am excited to contribute to a mission that embodies this welcoming spirit, ensuring that anyone in need can find a compassionate and supportive presence.

My journey into emergency medicine began during my first year in medical school in Loma Linda, California, where I discovered a deep-seated affinity for the fast-paced environment and the diverse range of clinical presentations. Emergency medicine allows me to be there for individuals on what might be one of their toughest days, offering support, guidance, and empathetic care while attending to their medical needs—work that I find immensely rewarding.

As a first-generation Latin-American, I am deeply committed to delivering high-quality emergency medical care to communities that are often underrepresented. My dedication is fueled by my own experiences and the hard work of my immigrant parents. This sense of responsibility extends to cultivating the next generation of successful physicians. During my residency at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, I devoted countless hours to mentoring and supporting medical students and residents from diverse backgrounds. Whether I am mentoring colleagues or caring for patients, my goal remains the same: to provide compassionate and supportive care that meets each individual's unique needs.
