As a psychiatrist at NYU Langone, I am deeply committed to understanding and enhancing the human experience. My approach to care is fueled by a belief that every individual has a fundamental need to feel fulfilled in life. This understanding drives me to work collaboratively with my patients to identify and achieve their unique treatment goals. My practice is detail-oriented, emphasizing accurate diagnosis and the thoughtful use of medication, psychotherapy, and lifestyle modifications, while maintaining open communication about my patients’ lived experiences and what may be effective for their specific needs.

I specialize in treating adults with a variety of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, mood fluctuations, trauma-related issues, and attention deficits. I manage the complexities of mental health conditions that coexist with other medical issues, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.

Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to proactive healthcare engagement, focusing on patient wellbeing. My work extends beyond individual patient interactions to include significant contributions to medical education. I have received teaching awards from medical students, reflecting my passion for education and commitment to lifelong learning, and now I serve as an assistant program director of the adult residency program in NYU Langone’s Department of Psychiatry. This dedication ensures that I provide the best possible outcomes for my patients.

My journey into psychiatry was influenced by my early life experiences and academic background in human biology, neuroscience, psychology, and philosophy. Immigrating to the United States at a young age, I developed a keen interest in understanding diverse cultures and values, which naturally led me to the field of psychiatry. At NYU Langone, I am proud to be part of a team that ensures comprehensive and coordinated care for all our patients.
