As a gastroenterologist at NYU Langone Gastroenterology Associates, I specialize in treating a wide range of esophageal conditions, including esophageal motility disorders such as achalasia and esophageal spasm, eosinophilic esophagitis, and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).

With over a decade of experience, I am committed to staying at the forefront of medical advances. My training includes a fellowship in gastroenterology, which included mentoring by leading experts in esophageal medicine. This experience, combined with my dedication to continuous learning, allows me to provide the highest level of care to my patients.

My passion for medicine began in childhood, inspired by the exceptional care my father received during a serious illness. Witnessing the profound impact of dedicated physicians on his recovery motivated me to pursue a career in which I could make a significant difference in people's lives. Today, I am energized by the dynamic field of esophageal medicine and the potential it holds for innovation and progress.

Throughout my career, I have focused on proactive healthcare engagement, emphasizing the importance of shared decision-making and empowering patients to advocate for their own health. I believe in providing patients with the information they need to make informed decisions about their treatment. By incorporating the latest technologies, such as the endoluminal functional lumen imaging probe (EndoFLIP) and advanced reflux testing, I can offer comprehensive assessments and tailored treatment plans that address the full scope of each patient's condition.

In addition to caring for patients, I serve as the site-specific principal investigator for several ongoing clinical trials at our center. These trials focus on eosinophilic esophagitis, esophageal motility disorders, GERD, and the use of emerging technologies. Through research, we are not only contributing to the development of new treatment modalities but also gaining invaluable insights that directly benefit our patients.
