Matthew D. Lee, MD

My research aims to advance neuroradiology through innovative and interdisciplinary applications of advanced neuroimaging techniques and machine learning to improve the diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment evaluation of neurological diseases with a focus on brain tumors. I focus on quantitative physiologic MRI techniques and develop imaging-based models to predict molecular biomarkers and to differentiate tumor progression from treatment-related changes. I have led a grant-funded study correlating MRI with intraoperative histology in glioblastomas and contribute to multi-institutional studies published in leading journals. My work has been recognized with research awards from the Society for Neuro-Oncology, American Society of Neuroradiology, and Radiological Society of North America.
