My passion for medicine was inspired by a high school biology teacher and personal experiences with my parent's serious illness. These early exposures continue to influence my approach to patient care, emphasizing clarity and unwavering support during challenging times.

As a double board-certified physician in family medicine and emergency medicine, I have had the privilege to serve a diverse patient demographic, focusing particularly on communities affected by trauma, including survivors of human trafficking. Such interactions have profoundly educated me on trauma-informed care, nurturing a methodology that values safety, empathy, and empowerment. This approach is central to my practice, especially within the high-stakes environment of the emergency department, where I am dedicated to delivering skilled and compassionate care amid uncertainty and urgency.

The bustling dynamics of the emergency department energize me, fostering an environment where I collaborate with a committed team to make prompt diagnoses and develop thoughtful treatment plans. I view emergency medicine as a collaborative endeavor, essential for fostering learning and ensuring quality patient care.
