About Me
As a pediatric hospitalist at NYU Langone, I am dedicated to providing exceptional care for children and their families during some of their most challenging times. My approach is centered on creating a supportive and reassuring environment, ensuring that both young patients and their parents feel informed, comforted, and cared for throughout their hospital stay. I believe in the power of empathy and connection, and I strive to build trust with my patients by using simple language, actively listening to their concerns, and engaging with them through play and compassion.
I specialize in pediatric hospital medicine, focusing on managing acute and chronic conditions in hospitalized children. With over a decade of experience, I am well-versed in treating a wide range of pediatric illnesses and conditions. My credentials include a doctor of osteopathic medicine (DO) degree, and I am board-certified in pediatrics. My extensive training and years of practice have equipped me with the skills and knowledge necessary to provide high-quality, comprehensive care to my young patients.
Throughout my career, I have been committed to proactive healthcare engagement and collaborative care. I work closely with a team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, respiratory therapists, aides, and child life specialists, to develop holistic care plans tailored to each child’s unique needs. This team-oriented approach allows us to innovate and adapt, ensuring that we provide the most effective and compassionate care possible.
My journey into pediatric medicine was inspired by my early fascination with medicine and my desire to work with children. As a mother, I understand the importance of building trust and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for young patients. Witnessing the progress and recovery of my patients brings me immense fulfillment and fuels my dedication to providing compassionate, high-quality care.
