I am an internal medicine physician at NYU Langone Hospital Long Island. My journey into medicine began early in life, inspired by witnessing my sister's courageous battle with leukemia. The dedication and compassion displayed by her physicians left a lasting impression, and my admiration only deepened when I contributed to her treatment as a bone marrow donor. Experiencing both sides of the patient-provider relationship revealed to me the profound impact medical professionals have on individuals and families during their most vulnerable moments. I chose to specialize in internal medicine because it allows me to engage in critical thinking, manage complex medical conditions, and stay continuously engaged with the evolving landscape of healthcare. The scope of this field challenges me intellectually and pushes me to grow both as a clinician and a lifelong learner.

Caring for others is truly a privilege, and my commitment to medicine is anchored in this understanding. To be entrusted with a patient’s health is an honor I hold dear. I build trust with my patients by listening closely, communicating clearly, and showing genuine empathy. My goal is to foster an environment where patients feel heard, respected, and involved in their own care.

As an internal medicine physician, I treat a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, often involving multiple organ systems. This requires a comprehensive and patient-centered approach that considers not just symptoms, but the whole person. I collaborate closely with specialists and healthcare providers to ensure well-coordinated, multidisciplinary care whenever necessary.

In my practice, I emphasize education, transparency, and partnership. It is a priority for me that patients and their families fully understand their diagnoses and treatment plans. I encourage questions, address concerns, and focus on shared decision-making. Ultimately, my patients should know that we are in this together, as partners dedicated to their health and well-being.
