About Me
As a clinical psychologist at NYU Langone, I am dedicated to fostering a nurturing and supportive environment for children, adolescents, and their families. My passion for psychology began in my own teenage years when I observed the struggles many of my peers faced with anxiety, depression, and body image issues. This early interest in human development and psychology inspired me to pursue a career in which I could make a positive impact during this critical stage of life.
I specialize in treating patients with eating and feeding disorders, body-focused repetitive behaviors, and tic disorders, with a particular focus on the intersection of mental health and medical conditions. With a doctorate in clinical psychology from Rutgers University and years of experience working with youth and their parents, I employ treatments such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). These approaches are tailored to meet the unique needs of patients, ensuring they receive the most effective care possible.
Throughout my career, I have been committed to proactive healthcare engagement, emphasizing the importance of early intervention and comprehensive care. My work extends beyond individual therapy sessions to include collaboration with teams at NYU Langone, ensuring coordinated care for my patients. I believe in the power of strong partnerships and responsiveness, fostering a positive and supportive experience for every family I work with.
I am passionate about helping children and adolescents navigate their developmental stages with resilience and growth, transforming challenges into opportunities for positive change.
