As a pediatric emergency medicine specialist at NYU Langone, I am committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care. My expertise encompasses a range of conditions, from minor injuries and illnesses to severe emergencies. These include trauma, respiratory distress, and acute infections. I work with patients from infancy to adolescence, each presenting unique challenges and requiring tailored approaches to their care.

In my role, I perform various procedures such as intubations—the process of inserting a tube through the mouth and then into the airway—laceration repair, and advanced airway management. I also manage emergency treatments for conditions like severe allergic reactions and dehydration. These procedures are crucial in stabilizing patients in urgent situations and ensuring they receive the best possible care.

One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is seeing the immediate impact of our care. A standout moment in my career was treating a young child who came in with a severe asthma attack. The situation was critical, requiring quick, decisive action. Working with the team to stabilize the child and seeing the relief and gratitude from the family reinforced my passion for emergency medicine. It was incredibly rewarding to know we had made a significant difference in a child's life.

My journey into medicine was inspired by my desire to help others and solve complex problems. Pediatrics was a natural fit because of my deep appreciation for working with children and their families. The fast-paced environment of the emergency department, combined with the challenge of addressing a wide range of urgent medical issues, aligns perfectly with my skills and interests.

As the emergency medical director for NYU Langone Hospital—Long Island and the pediatric trauma liaison, I collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of experts. This collaboration ensures comprehensive and coordinated care for my patients, reinforcing my commitment to proactive healthcare engagement.
