As an emergency medicine physician and medical toxicologist at NYU Langone and Bellevue, I deliver high-quality care in the dynamic and diverse environment of New York City. I am committed to addressing health complexities and improving outcomes, focusing on health disparities locally and globally.

My extensive training and over a decade of experience in these fields have equipped me to handle a wide range of acute medical conditions.  I hold a medical degree and a master’s in medical anthropology from McGill University, enhancing my understanding of the cultural and social factors influencing health.

Throughout my career, I have worked to advance acute care systems and build emergency medicine practices, particularly in Ghana, where I spent significant time developing and supporting emergency medicine education. My commitment to global health continues as I support international emergency medicine education, aiming to blend clinical excellence with compassionate care.

I was inspired to pursue medicine by a desire to contribute to a healthier future for everyone. I see my work as not just addressing immediate health concerns but also as part of a larger vision for health equity and resilience in the face of emerging challenges. My educational background and experiences have shaped my approach to patient care, emphasizing the importance of understanding and addressing the broader context of health.
