Stephanie Jose, DO

My journey in medicine began during my undergraduate studies at NYU, where I volunteered in the emergency department at NYU Langone. It was here, surrounded by compassionate mentors dedicated to patient care, that I discovered my fervent passion for emergency medicine.

What I find most rewarding about this field is the privilege to care for patients from diverse backgrounds, irrespective of their resources, during their moments of greatest need. I thrive in the collaborative environment of emergency medicine, joining forces with an exceptional team of nurses, technicians, pharmacists, social workers, and fellow physicians to manage complex issues and deliver unparalleled patient care.

I possess specialized training in point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS), a bedside diagnostic tool that enhances the accuracy and efficiency of diagnoses. Teaching is another passion of mine, and I am particularly enthusiastic about using ultrasound as an educational tool to impart knowledge in anatomy, physiology, and pathology. I find immense satisfaction in coaching future doctors, equipping them with the knowledge, clinical skills, and perspective necessary to excel in the dynamic field of emergency medicine.
