About Me
As a psychiatrist at NYU Langone’s Child Study Center, I provide comprehensive mental health care to children, adolescents, young adults, and their families, working with patients to meet their unique goals. With my patients, I work to involve their family and support system and recognize that just as mental health affects the whole person, successful psychiatric care requires attention to the broader aspects of patients’ lives, including their physical health, relationships, academic or occupational challenges, and support needs. Beyond diagnosis and medication management, I integrate therapeutic techniques along with comprehensive health and social interventions to provide individualized treatment for each patient.
While I care for patients of all backgrounds, I specialize in working with individuals with developmental disabilities, including intellectual developmental disorder (IDD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and various language and learning differences. I am experienced in addressing anxiety disorders, mood disorders, psychotic spectrum illnesses, behavioral difficulties, and more in both neurotypical and neurodiverse populations across the lifespan. I can provide psychiatric and diagnostic assessment, consultation, medication management, individual therapy, and family therapies such as parent management training.
In my work with patients, I prioritize collaborative decision-making and take the time to help you make informed decisions. I look forward to working with you to overcome mental health challenges, improve your relationships, find fulfillment, and meet your goals.
