Estela D. Noyola, D.O.

As a pediatric hospitalist at NYU Langone, I am dedicated to providing compassionate care for children during their hospital stays. My passion for pediatrics stems from a personal family experience that highlighted the critical importance of timely medical intervention. This experience has driven me to ensure that every child receives the highest quality of care, especially during vulnerable times.

I specialize in the care of children in the hospital, including both the mother–baby unit and the pediatric floor. My role involves caring for healthy newborns in our well-baby nursery, where I take great joy in celebrating with families as they welcome their new child. As the associate director of newborn services, I am actively involved in multiple quality improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing the care we deliver to our newborns. Additionally, I manage a variety of conditions such as bronchiolitis, asthma, pneumonia, cellulitis, and urinary tract infections.

Throughout my career, I have focused on proactive healthcare engagement and fostering strong partnerships with families. I work with a dedicated team to deliver high-quality, family-centered care, ensuring that the needs of each individual child are met. I am also passionate about educating future pediatricians, organizing educational activities for medical students and residents, and serving as an academic coach for medical students from NYU Grossman School of Medicine.

My journey into medicine was inspired by a close family member’s experience with meningitis, which left her with multiple disabilities due to a lack of timely medical resources. This personal connection has fueled my dedication to becoming the best possible physician and child advocate. I strive to be the kind of physician that I would choose to treat my own children, ensuring that every child receives the compassionate and comprehensive care they deserve.
