About Me
As a neonatologist at Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital at NYU Langone, I am dedicated to providing compassionate, family-focused care to our youngest patients. My role in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) allows me to support both preterm and full-term newborns who face a variety of medical challenges. I am committed to ensuring that each child receives comprehensive care tailored to their unique needs, while also offering support and guidance to their families during this critical time.
In the NICU, I specialize in managing the care of newborns who require extra support after birth, whether due to prematurity or serious medical conditions. My expertise includes the use of advanced technologies and treatments to stabilize and nurture these infants. I find great joy in seeing our neonatal patients thrive and grow as they return for follow-up visits.
With over a decade of experience in neonatology, I bring a wealth of knowledge and a commitment to excellence in clinical care and education. I am actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, helping to shape the next generation of healthcare providers. My approach is rooted in continuous learning, ensuring that I stay at the forefront of neonatal medicine.
My journey into neonatology was inspired by my early exposure to pediatric healthcare through my family. Witnessing the profound impact that caring medical professionals can have on a child’s life motivated me to pursue this field. My educational background includes extensive training in neonatology, and I am deeply involved in research aimed at improving neonatal care. My research interests include the use of near infrared spectroscopy, neonatal blood transfusion management, and optimizing infant nutrition practices. Through my work, I strive to advance our understanding and treatment of neonatal conditions, ultimately enhancing the care we provide to our patients.
