Edmond J. Safra Interdisciplinary Home Visit Program for Parkinson’s Disease

The Edmond J. Safra Interdisciplinary Home Visit Program for people with Parkinson’s disease, which is part of the Marlene and Paolo Fresco Institute for Parkinson’s and Movement Disorders at NYU Langone, brings world-class medical and psychosocial care to your home. Our team includes a neurologist, nurse, and social worker.

Together, we provide comprehensive, proactive, in-home care with the following goals:

  • extending team-based medical treatment, psychosocial support, and health education
  • enhancing your safety
  • increasing your access to care
  • improving your healthcare outcome
  • maximizing your independence and physical function
  • reducing caregiver strain

Improving access to in-home and caregiver support is crucial in helping some people with advancing Parkinson’s disease to live at home with the support they need. This program is dedicated to empowering patients and their families to achieve the best quality of life possible.
