My Research

Dr. Gold-von Simson is a Pediatric Hospitalist and the Medical Director of Inpatient Pediatrics 9 east, at Tisch Hospital/NYULMC. She earned her Masters in Clinical Investigation as an NIH K30 awardee. Her current research involves pediatric clinical trials, and she has also been involved with the formulation of a compound for dose escalation, safety, and efficacy trials. Dr. Gold-von Simson is the Course Director for the GSAS's Drug Development course and is actively involved with the teaching programs of the CTSI and Masters of Science in Clinical Investigation Program, as she also sits on the Executive Committee of this program. She was recently awarded an R25 grant from the NIH (NIDDK) to expand her educational program in drug development. Dr. Gold-von Simson's ultimate goals are to build upon the wide breadth of the clinical inpatient experience to enhance NYU Langone Medical Center's mission, to continue to perform clinical research, specifically early stage clinical trials, and to expand the teaching programs at the NYU School of Medicine, specifically within her area of expertise, drug development and entrepreneurship.
