Marianna Shvartsbeyn, MD

As a dedicated pathologist at NYU Langone, I am deeply committed to delivering the highest standard of patient care. My journey in medicine began when I joined the prestigious pathology program at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, an institution that has become my alma mater and continues to inspire me daily. Working with an exceptional team of colleagues, I strive to provide comprehensive and compassionate care to every patient.

I specialize in dermatopathology and hematopathology, focusing on cutaneous malignancies and lymphoid neoplasia involving the skin. As a quadruple board-certified pathologist, I bring extensive expertise and years of experience to my role. My training includes a dermatopathology fellowship at NYU Langone and hematopathology training at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston. This extensive background enables me to offer precise and informed diagnoses, which are crucial for effective treatment planning.

Throughout my career, I have been actively involved in collaborative research efforts. I am a proud member of the Interdisciplinary Melanoma Cooperative Group and several other research groups at NYU Langone. My primary clinical focus is with the dermatologic oncology group at NYU Langone Hospital—Long Island, where I am thrilled to contribute to our rapidly expanding team. Our commitment to outstanding patient care, patient safety, education, and operational excellence is unwavering.

My educational journey began with a profound interest in the intricate workings of the human body and the desire to make a meaningful impact on patients’ lives. The rigorous training and inspiring mentors I encountered along the way solidified my passion for pathology.
