As a clinical psychologist at NYU Langone, I am deeply committed to helping young people and their families navigate the complexities of mental health. I believe that our early experiences significantly shape who we become, and it is a privilege to guide families in learning effective strategies early to affect positive and lasting change. Witnessing these transformations within the child and their environment through collaboration with caregivers, families, and schools is incredibly rewarding.
I specialize in treating disruptive behavior disorders such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and oppositional defiant disorder, as well as anxiety and mood disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and emotion dysregulation across diagnoses. I aim to meet patients and families where they are, providing honest and human-centered care. Strong emphasis is placed on establishing and maintaining rapport with my patients, typically through individualized care that speaks to the person’s interests, developmental level, and abilities.
My clinical approach is cognitive behavioral therapy and includes a host of evidence-based interventions that are typically short term and goal driven. I also provide parent management and support, group skills training, and consultation and collaboration with schools. I am committed to formulating clear case conceptualization and treatment plans with patients and their families to ensure their understanding of necessary steps to achieve their goals.
