About Me
As a radiologist at NYU Langone, I am dedicated to providing crucial support behind the scenes, ensuring that each patient receives the most accurate and informative imaging results. My role involves guiding doctors in selecting the appropriate imaging tests and interpreting the results to help determine the next steps in patient care. Although you may never meet me, I am deeply committed to every patient whose imaging I interpret, serving as an expert consultant to the doctors who interact with you directly.
I specialize in thoracic imaging, which encompasses the lungs and all the organs within the chest. With extensive training and years of experience in this field, I bring a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of the complexities involved in chest imaging. My background as an amateur artist has honed my visual processing skills, making me particularly adept at interpreting intricate imaging data.
Throughout my career, I have focused on the broad scope of radiology, eventually narrowing my expertise to thoracic imaging. My work is integral to the diagnostic process, providing critical insights that inform treatment decisions and patient outcomes. Additionally, I am passionate about fostering the development of our faculty at NYU Langone. As associate dean, I lead the Office of Mentoring and Professional Development, where I design and implement mentorship programs that enhance the professional growth of our medical community.
My journey into radiology was inspired by my visual orientation and the broad scope of the field. The ability to process visual data effectively and my interest in the comprehensive nature of radiology drew me to this specialty. At NYU Langone, I am proud to be part of a team that values coordinated, seamless care, ensuring that every patient receives the highest standard of medical attention.
