As an attending physician at NYU Langone Hospital–Brooklyn’s Medical Intensive Care Unit and Pulmonary Service, I am dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to my patients. My philosophy centers on proactive healthcare engagement, ensuring that patients receive personalized attention and treatments tailored to their unique needs.

I specialize in treating and managing chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), sarcoidosis, and other chronic respiratory conditions that require meticulous and ongoing care. With extensive training in bioinformatics analytical techniques, I have also honed my skills in exploring airway organisms. My credentials include a fellowship in which I trained under Dr. Leopoldo N. Segal, director of NYU Langone’s Lung Microbiome Program and NYU Langone’s Segal Lab.

My research, conducted during my time at the Segal Lab, focuses on uncovering new insights into advancing the understanding of the pathogenesis and disease progression of COPD and sarcoidosis, which directly informs my clinical practice. This dedication to research and patient care ensures that I am at the forefront of the latest medical advances, providing my patients with the best possible outcomes.

My journey into medicine was inspired by a deep-seated desire to make a meaningful impact on people's lives. I pursued my medical degree with a focus on pulmonary and critical care, driven by the complex and rewarding nature of these specialties.
