As an emergency medicine physician at NYU Langone, I am deeply committed to providing compassionate care during some of the most critical moments in my patients’ lives. The diagnostic puzzle of emergency medicine has always drawn me to this field. I find immense satisfaction in integrating symptoms, risk factors, history, and lifestyle to formulate a plan, arrive at the correct diagnosis, and facilitate proper treatment and management. For many of our patients, a visit to the emergency department is fraught with fear and uncertainty. It is a privilege to serve them during these moments, providing reassurance and collaborative care.

In the emergency department, I treat patients of all ages and from all walks of life. My expertise includes managing acute emergencies such as strokes, heart attacks, endocrine emergencies, and sepsis. Additionally, we serve as a critical access point for patients who may not have immediate access to care. With years of experience in emergency medicine, I am well-equipped to handle a wide range of medical crises, ensuring that each patient receives the highest standard of care.

Throughout my career, I have focused on proactive healthcare engagement and teamwork. Our emergency department is staffed with dedicated physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, and pharmacists who work collaboratively to treat our patients. We also have access to top-tier consultants who assist in medical decision-making to achieve the best possible outcomes. This team-based approach ensures that our patients benefit from comprehensive, coordinated care.

My journey into medicine began with a commitment to the profession and to each individual patient. I was inspired by the diagnostic puzzle, the undifferentiated critical patient requiring acute, decisive action as well as the dynamic team environment that led me to pursue a career in emergency medicine, where I could combine my passion for diagnostic challenges with the opportunity to provide immediate, life-saving care.
