About Me
As an NYU Langone board-certified sports medicine physician and orthopedic surgeon, I manage patients with all types of sports injuries that involve muscle, tendon, ligament, cartilage, bone, and joints. I frequently perform arthroscopy, a minimally invasive surgical procedure to treat meniscus and anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tears in the knee and rotator cuff and labrum tears in the shoulder.
I appreciate the physical and mental benefits of exercise and activity. A marathon runner and avid skier myself, I understand the importance of quickly returning my patients to competition and to the activities they enjoy, regardless of their age or ability level. I have also served as a team physician throughout my training and practice.
My knowledge and experience extend to the full array of general orthopedic conditions, including all types of extremity fractures. I also provide the most current nonoperative and operative treatments for arthritis, including robot-assisted knee replacement surgery.
As a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a member of the Arthroscopy Association of North America, I continue to learn new techniques and attend orthopedic conferences to provide my patients with the latest and best treatments in the constantly evolving world of orthopedics.
