As a licensed clinical psychologist at the Child Study Center, part of Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital at NYU Langone, I am dedicated to helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, stress, and other challenges that may be holding them back. I am passionate about creating a supportive and collaborative environment in which my clients feel genuinely heard and understood. My approach is grounded in practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure-based methods, and acceptance-based techniques, making the therapy process impactful, engaging, and enjoyable.
I specialize in providing both individual and group therapy to children, teens, and adults. My expertise lies in addressing anxiety and mood concerns, such as intense worry, low mood, self-doubt, and perfectionism, which can often prevent people from feeling fulfilled. I bring warmth, curiosity, and enthusiasm to each session, empowering my clients to work toward their meaningful goals with a tailored therapeutic approach. My holistic framework often involves coordinating with other professionals, schools, and family members to ensure well-rounded care.
I have also extended my efforts to scholarly projects aimed at disseminating information about effective therapies for school avoidance, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and anxiety and mood disorders. I am committed to integrating advances from psychological research into my practice to enhance patient care.
Alongside my clinical work, I am dedicated to training future mental health professionals, working closely with undergraduate and graduate students to share the practical and compassionate skills needed in this field.
