As a dermatologist and dermatopathologist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer at NYU Langone, I am dedicated to leveraging the latest scientific and technological advancements to improve patient outcomes. My passion lies in using cutting-edge technologies, such as non-invasive skin imaging and advanced molecular diagnostics, to classify and prognosticate challenging cases accurately. Serving the diverse population of New York City is a privilege, and I am committed to providing personalized, patient-centered care.

My expertise focuses on pigmented lesions and melanoma – areas where I have extensive experience. I completed my dermatology residency and dermatopathology fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania, followed by an academic career in Seattle prior to coming to New York.

Throughout my career, I have held leadership positions in dermatopathology and melanoma research, contributing to advancements in the field. My work is driven by a proactive approach to healthcare, emphasizing the importance of early detection and innovative treatment strategies. At NYU Langone, I collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless, coordinated care for my patients.

My journey into medicine began in the Pacific Northwest, where I completed most of my higher education at the University of Washington. My move to the East Coast for advanced training at the University of Pennsylvania broadened my perspective and expertise. Inspired by the rapid pace of scientific discovery, I am dedicated to applying these advancements to benefit my patients, both in the exam room and under the microscope.
