About Me
As a dermatologist at NYU Langone, I offer thorough and compassionate care to my patients. My philosophy centers on proactive healthcare engagement, ensuring that each patient receives personalized treatment tailored to their unique needs. I find great fulfillment in helping individuals manage complex skin disorders and cutaneous lymphoma. I am committed to fostering strong partnerships with my patients to enhance their overall health and wellbeing.
My journey began at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, followed by an internship at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston. I returned to NYU Langone to complete my dermatology residency, where I served as the chief resident. Since joining the faculty of the Ronald O. Perelman Department of Dermatology in 1999, I have cared for thousands of patients with cutaneous lymphoma at NYU Langone, the Manhattan VA Hospital, and Bellevue, where I established the Cutaneous Lymphoma Clinic.
Throughout my career, I have been deeply involved in medical education, serving as the program director of the dermatology residency program for twelve years before becoming vice chair for education in our department. My dedication to teaching has been recognized with several awards, including the Resident Advocate of the Year Award and the Inaugural Faculty Mentor of the Year Award. I am also the chief of dermatology at the New York Harbor Veterans Affair Healthcare System, where I oversee one of the busiest veteran’s affairs dermatology clinics nationwide.
