I have always loved to solve puzzles, enjoyed art, and wanted to help people. Medicine allows me to do it all—engage my senses and connect dots to diagnose complex medical problems, then come up with treatment plans that have a positive impact on people’s lives.

As an internist, I approach health with curiosity and excitement. I pride myself on treating the person, not the disease.

Often, a patient should try lifestyle changes before taking medication. I have training in integrative medicine, which involves incorporating nutrition, exercise, and, sometimes, supplements into a treatment plan.

I believe in a collaborative approach to medicine, and I refer patients to trusted colleagues when necessary. Patients benefit from multidisciplinary care because it can keep them out of the emergency department. They can be seen the same day for urgent medical problems.

I partner with my patients to create personalized and achievable health goals. We discuss a variety of ways to treat a particular condition. It is rewarding to watch patients achieve their goals.

When one person chooses a healthier lifestyle, the people around them often do, too. I appreciate the trust of my patients, and I enjoy caring for multiple generations of families.
