As a clinical psychologist at the Child Study Center, part of Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital at NYU Langone, I am dedicated to providing compassionate care. I specialize in treating patients with a range of anxiety and depressive disorders, as well as obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).
Additionally, as the director of the Tics, Tourette Disorder, and Trichotillomania (T3) Program, I treat patients with tic disorders, Tourette disorder, and various body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs), such as hair pulling (trichotillomania) and skin picking (excoriation). With years of experience in the field, I use empirically-supported treatments to ensure the best outcomes for my patients.
Building trust and rapport with my patients is essential, and I strive to integrate nonjudgmental compassion with expertise in my practice. I believe that genuine curiosity about the patient and a sense of humor can significantly enhance the therapeutic partnership, leading to more effective treatment.
My educational background includes a PhD in clinical psychology. After a career in the corporate world, I switched to clinical psychology to make a meaningful impact on individuals' lives. At NYU Langone, I work alongside a dedicated team, ensuring comprehensive and coordinated care for my patients.
