About Me
As a psychiatrist at NYU Langone, I am captivated by the human mind and its profound influence on our perception of reality. This fascination fuels my dedication to mental health. I am deeply committed to providing personalized care, and I firmly believe the bond between a physician and patient is a powerful tool for wellbeing. My approach is holistic, always prioritizing the best interests of the individual in front of me.
I specialize in managing a variety of psychiatric conditions, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, sleep disorders, trauma-related disorders, and self-esteem issues. As a psychopharmacologist, I use medications to treat mental disorders. This approach is complemented by my extensive training in talk therapy from the New York Psychoanalytic Society & Institute. I also completed a fellowship in consultation-liaison psychiatry, which has equipped me to treat complex medical conditions with a psychiatric component. During my fellowship, I focused on women’s mental health, and I have developed expertise in reproductive psychiatry. My diverse training and years of experience significantly contribute to my expertise in the field.
As part of NYU Langone, I work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and coordinated care for my patients. Throughout my career, I have emphasized proactive engagement in healthcare, staying current with the latest recommendations to provide the best care possible.
The most rewarding aspect of my work is the partnership I form with my patients to ensure a positive experience. Let’s talk; together, we can find a solution that works for you.
