About Me
As a psychiatrist at NYU Langone, I am dedicated to integrating the biological and psychological aspects of mental healthcare. My passion lies in helping patients overcome obstacles and struggles in their lives. Through comprehensive intake evaluations, I take the time to understand each patient’s unique story and identify the areas where they need support. I believe that good psychiatric care goes beyond merely treating symptoms; it involves being attentive to my patients’ needs and guiding them towards flourishing in their lives.
I specialize in treating a wide range of general adult mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, trauma disorders, and ADHD. With over a decade of experience in the field, I employ a combination of psychopharmacological treatments and psychotherapeutic techniques to provide holistic care tailored to each individual. My additional in-depth training in psychodynamic psychotherapy from the Psychoanalytic Association of New York allows me to integrate this specialized knowledge into my practice alongside medication treatment, offering a comprehensive approach to mental healthcare.
Throughout my career, I have focused on proactive healthcare engagement. My work centers on fostering strong partnerships with my patients, ensuring a positive and responsive patient experience. I am committed to collaborating with my patients on their journeys to achieve their personal goals and enhance their overall wellbeing.
My journey into medicine was driven by my love for science and a desire to help others. I pursued a career in psychiatry to alleviate suffering and promote wellbeing. As part of NYU Langone, I collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of experts, ensuring coordinated and seamless care for my patients. I am eager to continue making a positive impact on the lives of those I serve.
