About Me
As a child, adolescent, and addiction psychiatrist at the Child Study Center, part of Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital at NYU Langone, I am dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to my patients and families. I chose a career in child psychiatry because of my desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people. To this end, my approach to care is holistic in nature. I recognize that medication management or therapy alone is often insufficient to bring about lasting change. To truly make a difference, it’s important to address all of the social and structural factors that influence our mental health and wellness.
With fellowship training in child, adolescent, and addiction psychiatry, I bring a unique and valuable perspective to my clinical practice. My expertise lies in the treatment of adolescents and young adults struggling with substance use or addiction. Throughout my career, I have also been involved in health equity research, particularly in understanding and addressing racial disparities in opioid use disorder treatment.
My background in public health has driven me to develop innovative care models and increase access to care. Since joining NYU Langone, I have had the immense pleasure of working with others to expand our addiction treatment services within the Child Study Center, which is a real gap in our field and area of immense need.
