I specialize in treating patients with a wide range of psychiatric conditions, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic disorder, and depression. My expertise in psychopharmacology enables me to manage complex medication regimens effectively, ensuring that my patients receive the most appropriate and effective treatments.

Throughout my career, I have gained extensive experience in both clinical and academic settings. I completed my internship and residency in psychiatry at the University of Chicago Hospitals, followed by a fellowship in clinical psychopharmacology and research in schizophrenia at Long Island Jewish Zucker Hillside Hospital (Northwell). My professional journey has included roles as a research psychiatrist, clinical teaching psychiatrist, forensic examiner, and associate medical director at Pilgrim Psychiatric Center. These diverse experiences have equipped me with a broad skill set and a deep understanding of various psychiatric conditions.

A summer job as a nursing aide sparked my interest in helping adults who were older or disabled, leading me to pursue a career in medicine. During medical school, a psychiatry rotation focused on clinical research in schizophrenia and bipolar disorder inspired me to specialize in psychopharmacologic psychiatry. Witnessing patients regain their lives through effective treatment solidified my commitment to this field. Today, as an attending psychiatry consultant at NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn and faculty member at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, I continue to be driven by the goal of improving my patients' mental health and wellbeing.
