About Me
After growing up in a large extended family, which counted lots of children among them, I naturally gravitated towards the field of pediatric medicine. As a pediatric emergency medicine physician at NYU Langone, I am deeply committed to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to children and their families.
With years of experience, I have honed my skills in diagnosing and managing a wide range of childhood illnesses in the emergency department. My role allows me to be a generalist, addressing diverse medical conditions while establishing trust with patients and their families quickly.
Throughout my career, I have also focused on medical education, particularly in areas such as biostatistics, research design, critical appraisal of medical literature, and teaching skills. As the director of Pediatric Emergency Medical Education, I am passionate about teaching and mentoring the next generation of healthcare professionals. I frequently conduct high-fidelity simulation cases in our simulation center and emergency departments, ensuring that our trainees are well-prepared for real-world scenarios. My early career was dedicated to developing educational content and curricula, and I now focus on sharing this knowledge. I firmly believe in the power of education and am always eager to share my expertise with those willing to learn.
At NYU Langone, I collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure that our patients receive coordinated care. Working with children and their families is a pleasure and an honor. I am dedicated to making a positive impact and providing the highest quality of care to every child I encounter.
