Can certain foods really increase our risk of cancer? The answer is yes.

Meyers, MD, clinical associate professor of medicine and director of the Survivorship Program at Perlmutter Cancer Center, to get the facts about which foods can increase the risk of cancer and whether or not other foods can help prevent it. “So while we know there are some foods that can increase the risk of cancer, there are unfortunately no foods that we know decrease the risk of cancer,” Dr. Meyers says. “But food certainly can be important for overall health.”
