‘Better Health Starts with a Better Health System’ Focuses on Quality Metrics, Such as Mortality & Readmission
Following a series of top national rankings, NYU Langone Health has launched “Better Health Starts with a Better Health System,” a consumer-facing brand awareness campaign focused on how choosing the right health system can have a major impact on patient outcomes.
The campaign presents trusted quality metrics and rankings specific to NYU Langone Health, including the system’s consistently low mortality rates, readmission rates, and hospital-acquired infection rates as the most meaningful data points for patients to consider, particularly in New York’s crowded healthcare market.
“Choosing the right health system can change the course of your life. This campaign is about differentiating what NYU Langone, as an integrated health system, is uniquely positioned to provide,” said Elizabeth Golden, NYU Langone’s executive vice president for communications, marketing, government and community affairs. “More and more patients have become better-informed and -educated consumers. This campaign provides them with the most meaningful and consequential factors to weigh in their decisions.”
The campaign shares impactful examples of NYU Langone’s deep investment in data monitoring and analysis to transform the patient experience, its dedication to facilitating impactful research breakthroughs, and the institution’s innovations in medical education, which allowed it to become the first top-ranked medical school to offer tuition-free degrees.
These narratives will reach audiences through broadcast television, Times Square displays, traditional media, and digital platforms. In the weeks to come NYU Langone will reveal several partnerships with prominent brands and individuals aimed at reaching consumers where they live and work.
