Our spine physicians are internationally recognized leaders in the field, evaluating 18,000 patients annually and performing 2,850 surgeries and 3,000 interventional procedures a year.
We work closely with neurologists, rehabilitation medicine physicians, and radiologists to ensure the most accurate diagnosis. We provide patients with same-day, state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging. This includes digital X-rays, MRI, and EOS® imaging—a high-resolution, low-dose radiation spinal imaging system with complex, three-dimensional reconstruction capability.

Thomas J. Errico, MD

Dr. Errico is chief of the Division of Spine Surgery at NYU Langone. He is professor of both orthopaedic surgery and neurosurgery. Dr. Errico is internationally recognized as one of the most prominent specialists in the field of spine and spinal deformity surgery, having been named one of “8 Leaders in Scoliosis Surgery to Know” by Becker's Spine Review and among the top 100 spine surgeons and specialists by Becker’s Hospital Review. Anthony K. Frempong-Boadu, MD

Dr. Frempong-Boadu is director of the Division of Spinal Neurosurgery and an associate professor in the Department of Neurosurgery. He is board certified in neurological surgery. Dr. Frempong-Boadu is a noted specialist in the field of minimally invasive and endoscopic spinal surgery and speaks frequently on this topic at national and international meetings. He has a special interest in the surgical treatment of spinal cord and spinal column tumors.
