Care by Advanced Trainees

At the Child Study Center, part of Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital at NYU Langone, our team offers a wide range of mental health services for children, adolescents, and families. Whether your child has been diagnosed with a psychiatric illness or a learning disorder, or you are concerned about how your child is functioning at home, in school, or with friends, we can help.

Our highly trained staff works with you to decide which of the Child Study Center’s locations, programs, and clinicians are best suited to your child’s needs. In some cases, you may wish to consider working with one of our trainees. These skilled clinicians, selected by our faculty from a large pool of applicants, diagnose and treat children, adolescents, and families with behavioral, emotional, and mental health concerns. They are trained in the most-advanced and research-based diagnostic techniques and treatments—the very same methods used by our faculty. In addition, all of our trainees are carefully supervised by senior clinicians.
