Our team includes otolaryngologists, who treat conditions of the ear, nose, and throat, as well as sleep medicine experts. Pulmonologists and craniofacial surgeons, who specialize in plastic and reconstructive surgery of the face and skull, are also involved in your child’s care.

Treatment at NYU Langone

Treatment for children with sleep apnea depends on the underlying cause and severity of your child’s condition. Some children may improve after using medication or devices to improve airflow during sleep. Others may need surgery to remove blockages in the airway or to correct certain facial features that can lead to sleep apnea.
