As an anesthesiologist at NYU Langone, I am dedicated to providing comprehensive care to patients before, during, and after surgery. My passion for anesthesiology began in college when I volunteered in a surgical recovery room in Columbus, OH. I was inspired by the procedural skills, medical knowledge, and compassionate care demonstrated by the anesthesiologists I observed, which ultimately led me to pursue this incredible specialty.

I specialize in nonoperating room anesthesia, focusing on procedures performed outside the traditional operating room, such as gastrointestinal, pulmonary, and cardiac procedures. This growing area of anesthesiology requires strong leadership and a commitment to safety practices. I advocate for these principles through my published literature, lectures, and national committee work. With years of experience, I am committed to ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety in these settings.

Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to advancing the field of anesthesiology through education and research. I direct our departmental Grand Rounds series, serve on multiple editorial boards, and engage in discussions on trends in the field through podcasts and national forums. My work aims to promote continuing education for both resident and attending physicians, ensuring that our team remains at the forefront of medical advancements.
