NYU Langone Orthopaedics at Westchester Adds Services, Weekend Hours

Rheumatology, Plastic Surgery and Saturday Pediatric Orthopaedic Services Added

NYU Langone Medical Center’s Orthopaedics at Westchester recently expanded services to include rheumatology and plastic surgery, as well as access to pediatric orthopaedists on Saturdays. Rheumatologist Gary E. Solomon, MD, and plastic surgeon David A. Staffenberg, MD, are now also seeing patients at the facility located at 311 North Street in White Plains.

“Today, patients want expert medical care that also fits into their active lifestyles and busy schedules,” said Joseph D. Zuckerman, MD, the Walter A. L. Thompson Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery and chair of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at NYU Langone Medical Center. “We welcome Dr. Staffenberg and Dr. Solomon to the practice and know their expertise will expand the world-class service that we already offer our patients in Westchester and the surrounding area.”

David A. Staffenberg, MD, professor. Department of Plastic Surgery, is chief of pediatric plastic surgery at NYU Langone Medical Center who specializes in adult and pediatric plastic surgery, including craniofacial surgery, female and male breast reconstruction and reduction surgery, skin malignancies, liposuction, maxillofacial surgery & trauma, cleft palate, ear reconstruction as well as botox injections. Gary E. Solomon, MD, is a clinical associate professor of rheumatology in the Department of Medicine at NYU Langone specializing in immune disorders, spondylarthropies, rheumatoid arthritis, rheumatology and other arthritic conditions.

First opened in 2010, Orthopaedics at Westchester provides general and specialty orthopaedic services for a variety of conditions including hip and knee arthritis; back and neck pain; scoliosis and spinal deformities; hand, foot, ankle and shoulder conditions; sports injuries, fractures and pediatric orthopaedic conditions.
