NYU Langone Medical Center Acquires the Miller Practice
Miller Practice Will Continue to Deliver World-Class Care to the Communities It Serves
NYU Langone Medical Center announced today that it has acquired the Miller Practice located at 355 West 52nd Street in New York City. The strategic partnership will provide NYU Langone with a new presence on the west side of Manhattan and will allow the Miller Practice to continue delivering world-class care to the communities they serve.
The Miller Practice currently comprises four physicians; each holds a faculty appointment at NYU School of Medicine and has admitting privileges at NYU Langone Medical Center. In addition to the primary and specialty care the Miller Practice currently provides, NYU Langone plans to add additional services over time including cardiology and some non-invasive testing practices, including ultrasounds.
“Our decision to purchase the Miller Practice was based on the recognition that the services they provide are of the highest quality and will nicely complement the services offered at NYU Langone Medical Center,” said Andrew W. Brotman, MD, senior vice president and vice dean for clinical affairs and strategy, chief clinical officer, NYU Langone Medical Center. “Our agreement will allow us to expand our reach to new areas in New York and continue to provide the communities served by the Miller Practice with world-class services.”
The Miller Practice previously served as an outpatient service center affiliated with St. Vincent's Manhattan.
