NYU Langone and Prelude Fertility have announced a partnership establishing the NYU Langone Fertility Center as part of the Prelude Network, a rapidly growing national network of fertility clinics and egg donation centers.
The partnership expands the Fertility Center’s geographic footprint with more satellite locations, promotes in vitro fertilization (IVF) and egg freezing services, and allows people to tap into Prelude’s MyEggBank, one of the largest frozen donor egg banks in North America.
Additionally, James A. Grifo, MD, professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and director of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, has been named chief medical officer of Prelude. “Partnering with Prelude allows us to greatly expand our work with other top-tier centers, and to leverage the strengths of this national network to further revolutionize patient care,” says Dr. Grifo.
