Marathon Training: How to Achieve Your Personal Best
Join NYU Langone exercise physiologist Heather Milton, MS, and physical therapist Bethany Ridenhour, PT, as they discuss how to prepare for the New York City Marathon and other distance races. Topics include stages of an effective training program, such as when to increase volume and intensity; tips for peak performance; and the top five exercises to prevent running injuries.
This program is free and open to the public.

Concussions: What You Need to Know
Join experts from NYU Langone’s Concussion Center at Richmond County Bank Ballpark at St. George for a discussion about how to recognize, manage, and avoid getting a concussion. Tickets to this lecture cost $45 and include access to the Skyline Suite, which is located on the first base side of the ballpark, and 90 minutes of food service.
