About My Campaign
Colleagues, Coworkers, Friends & Family,
We’d like to invite you to contribute to our fundraising campaign for NYU Langone Medical Center for FACES. FACES (Finding A Cure for Epilepsy and Seizures) funds research to improve epilepsy care, advances new therapies, and fosters a supportive community for children, families and caregivers who live with the challenges of epilepsy.
To help raise awareness for FACES, a team of 20 of your colleagues, and some of our more adventurous friends, are going to be participating in the July 23rd Tough Mudder in Long Island. The Tough Mudder is a 10-12 mile obstacle course full of mud, cold water, electrified wires and other spectacular obstacles. For those of you who have never heard of this race, I've included a link of what we'll be up against- https://toughmudder.com/events/2016-long-island
The children (and families) who are affected by epilepsy show their strength and determination to overcome obstacles everyday, and so, we run to honor their perseverance and courage, and to hopefully show a little of our own.
If you feel motivated to donate any amount, no matter the size, please do. Your gift would mean so much to us, and even more to those who need our help.
Thank you for your support.
