If you love a woman, invest in life saving research

Friends, if you love a woman, you undoubtedly fear that she may one day be a cancer patient looking for life saving treatment and care. Researchers around the world and at NYU Langone Health Perlmutter Cancer Center have made good progress in identifying solutions to improve quality of life for women fighting very specific forms of cancer wherever they are around the world. Mobilizing public and private funding remains critical to rapid advancement of cancer treatment and cure.

I’d like to invite you to contribute to a fundraising campaign for the outstanding research team at Perlmutter Cancer Center that continue to improve and extend women's life. Their success will benefit all women experiencing such a traumatic life event and, one day, a vaccine or a pill will help prevent women's specific forms of cancer. Just like me, women would value contributions made by their loved ones to ensure that, through research and science, their lives will not be lost to cancer. No gift could carry more importance to any woman than such a powerful demonstration of love and care, be they your daughters, wives, mothers or grandmothers or just your colleagues or friends. There are so many other reasons to get involved with this community that’s working together to enable the best medical care, research, and education.
