About My Campaign
Thank you for remembering Marc Feld, the absolutely most devoted son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend this world has ever seen.
Marc loved people. It was rare to see him without a smile on his face. He loved the outdoors; his 5K runs from years back transitioned into daily 5K walks as time marched on. He was probably the only grandfather who, with multiple grandchildren in tow, covered miles on foot, ending up at the playground where he happily and tirelessly pushed them on the swings as high as the sky. Marc also loved the water, be it kayaking on the Great South Bay or Lake George, or swimming, walking and reading on the beach at Gilgo.
The Mets – yes, Marc was a die-hard fan from their inception. Unfortunately, the New York Mets have had more losing seasons than winning ones, but, Marc always said that being a Mets fan, at the very least, builds character. And he very proudly passed that legacy on to his daughters.
Marc had the privilege, for the last 35+ years, of being accepted and woven into the thread of Huntington, as the local optician, and for the last 24 years as the owner of The Optical Shoppe of Huntington. Marc had the knack of making everyone feel they were special. He brought the best out in everyone he touched, and for that we are forever grateful.
Marc is loved dearly, and so sorely missed by us all.
If you're reading this, you too have had the honor of knowing Marc in some capacity, either directly or through others. On his behalf, we thank you sincerely for your support of the Pediatric Multiple Sclerosis Center at NYU Langone.
With heartfelt gratitude,
The Feld Family
