About My Campaign

Within the last few years SCN2A has been discovered as one of the genes associated with Autism, epilepsy, and other serious neurodevelopmental disorders. FACES (Finding A Cure For Epilepsy & Seizures) and NYU Langone Health are working to treat this debilitating disorder through new approaches in gene editing.

We have seen first hand the debilitating affects of this genetic disorder in our twin sons, and how current therapeutic treatments are powerless to help. We hope, with your support, FACES/NYU Langone Health will be able to provide an effective treatment by eliminating the cause of the issue at the source.

It is our hope that FACES/NYU Langone Health will be able to unlock the potential of people suffering from SCN2A with genetic editing. Effective treatment could change the lives of people longing to express themselves and enter into this world intellectually and socially.

We invite you to partner with us, and support the work being done at FACES/NYU Langone Health. Our hope is that the lives of those who suffer from the affects of SCN2A and their families will have the ability to live fuller and healthier lives thanks to this cutting edge treatment.

If you feel motivated to donate any amount, no matter the size, please do. Your gift would mean so much to us, and even more to many others that depend on FACES/NYU Langone faculty and staff. Thank you for your support.
