Support Patients in Greatest Need, In Memory of Karl Weisstuch
About My Campaign
Friends and colleagues,
My father, Karl Weisstuch, came to the US in 1949 after surviving the Holocaust and having spent several years in concentration camp. He arrived with no money and no formal education. Together with my mother, they established roots in Brooklyn and rebuilt their lives. They repeatedly stressed to us how much they appreciated the great opportunities that were available to them in this country. They always remembered their humble beginnings and those that reached out to them to help them.
I would like to dedicate this page in his memory and encourage contributions to be made to help our patients at NYU Langone Hospital – Brooklyn who have little or no insurance. We will use the funds to assist them in obtaining health care where their coverage would not allow.
If you feel motivated to donate any amount, no matter the size, please do. Your gift would mean so much to me, and even more to so many others who depend on the work of NYU Langone. Thank you for your support.
